KNOCK KNOCKRemote Support &
Screen Recording
Please review how remote support works and where screen recordings are stored before using the service.
1. Support starts with a one-time code
Enter the support code you received to connect with a support specialist. During the session, the specialist can view your screen and control the keyboard and mouse only within the permissions you approve.
2. Recording starts only with your approval
When a support specialist requests recording, you will be asked to allow or decline it. Remote support continues even if you decline. A status indicator appears at the top of the screen while recording is active.
3. Recordings are saved on the support staff PC
Recordings are not stored on KNOCK KNOCK servers. They are saved in the Videos\KnockKnock folder on the support staff PC. The support provider must explain why recording is needed and how long it will be kept, then securely delete it when no longer needed.
Please keep this in mind
Avoid displaying sensitive documents or passwords during remote support. You can end the connection from the KNOCK KNOCK app at any time.
