KNOCK KNOCKSAFE REMOTE SUPPORT
Connection and
Encryption
KNOCK KNOCK applies safeguards from connection approval through the transfer of remote support data.
Connect with a one-time support code
A code issued for the support session replaces complicated connection addresses.
Support begins only after approval
The support staff name and ID are shown to the person receiving help. The session does not begin until that person approves it.
Remote support data is end-to-end encrypted
Screen, input, chat, clipboard, and file-transfer data is encrypted between devices with AES-256-GCM. Even when relayed, a server administrator cannot view its contents.
Verify the security code on both devices
Both devices display a security code. For important sessions, comparing the codes provides an additional check of the connected party.
